Mum&Puppy is specially formulated food for the pregnant and lactating bitch and her nursing puppies in the first weeks of life. This food is based on a special composition of nutrients that benefits the development of puppies. It is rich in protein and contains calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D3 that contribute to the formation and development of a strong bone structure, healthy teeth and strong muscle mass. The ratio between the substances Selenium and Vitamin E works as an antioxidant and keeps the muscles healthy. The extra nutrients pass through the body and later through the mother's milk to the nursing puppies.
The product has an adult kibble structure and can be eaten by puppies from about 6 months, when the puppy kibble Puppy Plus is no longer necessary to feed due to the sensitivity of the gastrointestinal system.
This product also meets the increased nutritional needs of the bitch during pregnancy. The increased doses of fats, vitamins and minerals contribute to the course of a healthy (mother dog during) gestation. Ok, these high doses speed up the recovery of the mother dog.
We recommend feeding Mum&Puppy:
- To the bitch: From the 35th day of gestation up to and including the weaning of the puppies (optionally to be fed temporarily afterwards for the recovery of the mother dog)
- For puppies: from 12 months to 18 months (depending on the size of the breed)
